10 Holiday Decoration Finds for Under $25

November 2020

Ryan and I have been married for over 16 years now (our marriage is old enough to drive in the US!). We’ve accumulated most of our holiday decorations little by little. I do admire some of the social media posts where everything looks pristine and new, but I love some of our older, more beat up decorations that have survived the many moves and years with us. Of course I do love a good holiday decor find, and each year I get one or two new things to add to our decor stash. I’ve included one of those finds here, and a few more ideas of things we love to decorate with, all for under $25 each. I can smell the cinnamon candles already! Here are some holiday decor finds to consider adding to your collections.

1. Holiday Pillows

These are so cute! Holiday pillow covers are an inexpensive way to change things up in a room. With the low cost of these four pillow covers, you can easily change things up if the farmhouse style doesn’t do it for you next year. At the time I wrote this, these were under $18.

Farmhouse Holiday Pillows

I love the black and white look, and it goes well with our current entry decor (we are painting the walls whiter this week!). Here are two in our front room (plus one of crazy cats toys there to the right):

2. Holiday Candles

Holiday candles are a great and inexpensive way to make your entire house light up with scents of the holiday season. I usually use candles year round for some extra ambience as we Netflix and Chill. Right now I have a delicious pumpkin spice candle on (because if you haven’t seen this, I’m obsessed with pumpkin spice). Here is a soy based option with a farmhouse packaging that sounds like it will sweep us away to memories of hiking in the mountains:

3. Holiday Ornaments

Holiday ornaments, and the style of your tree, are a great clue into someone’s style preferences. I love crisp, clean, color coordinated trees. But in truth, I love more the decorations my family members have sent us over the years and that my kids have made me. My mother-in-law always sends a pair of ornaments from Canada for Ryan and I, and those are so fun to unwrap and look at each year.

4. Christmas Tree Botanical Prints

With these cute Christmas Tree Botanical tree prints under $16 for all, even if you only liked one to use it would still be a bargain. These cute prints are unframed, but you can add them to any existing frame. We get metal frames from Amazon for several of our prints, and these would look really cute inside these awesome frames.

5. Advent Calendar

We’ve had advent calendars before, mostly edible ones. This one would take our game to the next level. This super cute Hearth and Hand advent calendar hangs on the wall and has a holiday wreath marker to count down the days.

6. Wooden Bowls and Holiday Ball Fillers

These hand carved bowls are such a deal at under $25. And adding in these green and black checked knit balls would look so festive!

7. Holiday Vase Filler

I’ve used berry and ball vase fillers for years, and eagerly fill my vases and bowls as soon as the weather gets cold in the Pacific Northwest. This vase is not under $25, but I wanted to show the look of what can be easily accomplished for under $25.

A few of these vase fillers could go in any existing vase and instantly bring some holiday cheer to your kitchen or living room.

8. Tabletop Tree Decor

Who can go wrong with table top trees? I saw a post on social media of someone with almost 100 small wooden holiday trees on their mantle and I am convinced there is no such thing as too many holiday tabletop trees. This set of 3 is under $17 shipped. What a deal!

9. Holiday Throws

I’ve got my fire going (and my candle), and the weather is a perfect reason to have extra throws around the house. This Sherpa farmhouse fleece looks comfy and cozy, and matches the pillows I purchased perfectly.

10. Faux Snow

And who can resist a little faux snow to round out the beginning of the holiday season? This may not be necessary for many parts of the world, but I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest of the United States for over 15 years and can only recall 1 white Christmas. Pottery Barn has faux snow for more than $25, but you can purchase here for under $10 and use it to get a look like this:
